The Northlands FN community is one of four communities in Manitoba that rely solely on diesel generated electricity. A project to move to more distributed energy sources is now underway. Included in the project is a 280 kW solar array, a biomass district heating system and a lake-based geothermal district heating and cooling system.

Come hear Bruce Duggan of Boke Consulting explain how the solutions being implemented achieve the social, economic and environmental goals of the community. Bruce’s resume can be found here.
